Gateway Settings and Connections



Modbus Address (Blue Jumpers)
The Modbus Address is set in binary by setting the appropriate jumpers.

Radio Key Delay (Black Jumpers)
0ms   - No Jumpers
10ms - Set 10ms jumper
20ms - Set 20ms jumper
30ms - Set both jumpers

Parity (Red Jumpers)
Odd  - Set the Odd Jumper
Even - Set the Even Jumper
None - Set No Jumpers

Baud Rate (White Jumper)
9600   - Remove Jumper
19200 - Set Baud Rate Jumper

Connect 2179 Cable to P3
Connect Modus Cable to P1
(Note - Be very careful not to connect these to the wrong ports, the 2179 port uses
TTL levels and the Modbus port uses RS-232 levels, Damage to the panel could result
if this is not connected properly.)



Direct Cable Connection
For direct cable connection between the PC running Intellution and the Form 4C Gateway
(not through an RF Modem) Make sure to remove all RTS Timing Jumpers from P6.
Disable all radio settings in Intellution except RTS turn-around, which must be set to
175ms or higher.
