CPI's protocol driver family for the GE FANUC line of PLC's is a series of compiled, ROM based programs designed for operation on the GE FANUC 90-30 or 90-70 series Programmable Coprocessor Modules (PCM's).

This family of products allow a GE Series 90 PLC to provide economical and secure control and monitoring of intelligent field devices. Communication is established through a standard serial interface. Drivers are available in one or two port versions, allowing communications with more field devices from a single PCM module.

CPI's protocol drivers support RS-232 point-to-point connections and RS-485/422 multi-drop connections. Our drivers use standard LogicMaster COMMREQ commands to issue commands in the selected protocol. Data returned in response to the issued command is returned into user specified PLC memory locations.

CPI's DNP slave driver is easily configured through COMMREQ commands and then waits for and responds to DNP commands recieved on the PCM's serial port. This product allows DNP access to PLC memory registers.

Implementing multiple drivers on a single PLC allows the PLC to function as Modbus or DNP accessible data accumulators or in stand alone PLC monitor and control applications.

CPI's drivers are easy to install and configure. Sample ladder logic programs are provided with each driver to help you get up and running in a hurry.
